Ant,
Our first show and what a great night we had. Many thanks for all the hard work put in by you and your co-conspirators. We hope you raised loads of dough,as you deserve every penny & more. Can't wait for next year.

Hi Ant
Just wanted to say what a great time we all had last night. What an incredible effort you all put into it again. Your mum would be so proud of you! Can't wait to see what was raised!

Thanks to everyone who have so far ordered & paid for their Game Show Night tickets which helps us on the night as prior registering decreases our workload and helps us plan the drinks & food to avoid under ordering or wastage. Also advance ordering saves you cash as the tickets are more expensive on the door.
The Game Show props are all made and painted to give an authentic feel and to get you in the mood so we expect you to let your hair down & make as much noise as you like in true Game Show fashion! Also there is plenty of food available so there is no need to have a big dinner before you arrive.
If you haven't yet paid for your advance tickets then please either order them on line or by cash or cheque made payable to 'Moontrek' together with the names of those in your team and we will book your details on the computer which is the first step towards winning the £900 travel voucher prize.
Finally as with all Moontrek evenings & events, we encourage dressing up especially if you want a 'themed team' - the tackier the better as we want you to have fun, enjoy yourselves and raise some money for Cancer Research UK as all of the proceeds go to the charity. If you are uncomfortable dressing up then come as you please - no problem.
So here we are on the morning of the Tramp's & Tarts Ball.
Last minute rehearsals for the bands, disco lights being erected along with the Cancer Research banners, practice runs for the rat race and frantic tart baking going on in kitchens around the district!
Lots of men with a bit more stubble than usual and hopefully ladies trying their best to look like tarts this evening! In fact everything in place for a great fun evening and tickets are still available at the door if you can make it or sponsorship tickets can be purchased on line on this site if you can't. Especially anyone who has lost a Mum to cancer will find it particularly poignant that the event is held on the evening before Mother's Day so please dig deep for Cancer Research to help others fighting this awful disease!
Well - the next venue is now all set for Bagworth Working Men's Club where we will be hosting the Tramp's & Tart's Ball on 2nd April 2011. This will be a really fun evening & Ant is attempting to rally as much support as possible both prior to and during the event so any volunteers would be welcome. Hopefully many of you will join the theme and 'dress up' or 'dress down' as you wish although the main thing is that you come along and support this worthy cause where ALL proceeds go to Cancer Research UK.
A great deal of effort is being put into the event to ensure that the music, videos, bands, entertainment and food are well received and enjoyable. Hopefully the Tramp's Soup Kitchen and the Tart's Table will tempt you and the Rat Racing will be a laugh for everyone. A full bar at club prices will help to relax everyone and set us up for the band and disco so we hope very much to see you there to let your hair down, even if you are wearing a wig for the evening!
If by chance you can't make it on the evening you can still support us by digging deep and buying a Sponsor Ticket for just £2 in the knowledge that all of it goes to Cancer Research UK but hopefully you will be able to come along and enjoy yourselves
Thanks for taking the time to read this & good luck Ant!

Hi Anthony, We spoke at Mo's funeral. She was always telling us about your fundraising efforts and it was typical of her to think of others and ask for donations instead of flowers. Tried to do this via the internet but paypal won't let me! So I'll give the money to Adrian to pass on. Thanks Janet.
